Billion Baby Turtles - Help Lead One To The Water

Six out of seven species of sea turtles around the world are endangered or threatened. SEE Turtles is launching a new initiative to reverse this decline by saving one billion baby turtles around the world over the next decade. In addition, we will be launching a new program designed to build capacity for turtle educational programs at key turtle habitats around Latin America.

For every dollar that we raise, we can save one turtle hatchling through our partner conservation organizations around the world. Our goal this year is to raise $50,000 to save 50,000 hatchlings through the end of 2013. To date we have saved more than 30,000 hatchlings at nesting beaches in El Salvador and Costa Rica.
